Kids & Teens Program

This year's Kids & Teens program will serve children and teens ages 5-15 years old. The EDNF Learning Conference will provide developmental curriculum, activities, games, and educational sessions with doctors and other related speakers. While we will focus on encouraging the children, teens and students to gain a deeper understanding of EDS, we will also provide opportunities for them to have fun, and gain some deeper relationships with children and teens from all over the country! A strong focus this year will be about inspiring a better future with greater possibilities.

The 2014 Learning conference will offer a new track of sessions with focus on teens and young adults. These sessions will provide a comfortable environment for young adults to meet with doctors and other inspirational individuals while they get to know one another in a more personal setting. We will also have a teen/young adult lounge where they can relax, play some games and work on other activities at their leisure.

We hope to see you at the conference! Please feel free to reach out to Kate Gilbert at conference2014@ednf.org with any questions, comments, or concerns.

Conference Scholarships

The deadline to apply for conference scholarships has passed, and notifications will be made the week of April 21st.  Those who are not awarded with a scholarship will have until May 6th to still be able to register at the Early Bird rate.

It is our dream to help as many people as possible attend the Learning Conference.  Help us achieve this dream by making a donation to the 2014 Learning Conference Scholarship fund.

Physician Consultations

We are pleased to offer consultation appointments with several of the physicians speaking at EDNF's 2014 Learning Conference. There are a limited number of appointments and they will be brief, up to 20 minute time slots. The purpose of these appointments is to meet with one of our EDS specialists and discuss an issue you may be confronting. This will not be a substitute for regular ongoing medical care or diagnosis. Again, only a limited number of appointments will be offered. Once all the applications are received, the EDNF Conference Committee will review and assign appointments.  Apply here.
